Home Buying Incentives for County Employees.


Regardless of what county you live and work in, the state has a program available to help you get into a home for little to no money down. Most of these programs are available to anyone living and working in their county, and can grant you up to $20,000 to put toward your purchase, these programs are easy to qualify for, and usually only require a short class or quick application to qualify.

Anne Arundel County offers a Workforce Incentive program, which will provide you up to $20,000 to purchase in the county if you are employed there. There are some income requirements you should be familiar with and you can find an informational by Clicking here.
In Prince Georges County they offer the MyHome and MyHome II Program which grants up to $30,000 depending on the price of the house and which zip code you are moving to. To learn more about the MyHome programs, click here.
