The Maryland MyHome and MyHome II Programs for First Time Homebuyers.

The Maryland MyHome and MyHome II Programs are designed for hard-working, credit-worthy individuals desiring to live in Prince Georges County of Maryland. The program consists of an application process, followed by an 8 hour course provided by HUD.

Upon completion of the course, you can begin searching for homes that fit within the program guidelines with your Real Estate Agent. The process is very simple and the County has written almost 300 loans since its introduction. Your real estate agent can help guide you through the search and application process and make sure the home fits the requirements you need.
The MyHome and MyHome II Programs can be combined with FHA, VA, CONVENTIONAL, 203K STREAMLINE and MARYLAND MORTGAGE PROGRAMS. To see a comparison between the two different MYHOME Programs available, click here.
