Searching for the best REALTORĀ® in Maryland?

Here's a few tips to help you choose the best Realtor for you.

Selecting the best realtor for your particular needs is usually the first step in a homeowners journey to sell their house.

Ask for a recommendation - The best Realtor is the one well tapped into your community, and intimate with details of the homes and market trends of your area. That being said, if there's one in your neighborhood, chances are a few of your neighbors know of this mysterious and elusive qualified agent. Get out and ask around.

Check their record - A bad Realtor's guise will not hold up to scrutiny. Ask to see a list of their own, or their teams, previous listings and sales. Pay particular attention of the number of listings they take as compared to the ones that actually sell. Is he just a listing fiend, or does he actually know how to sell homes.
Meet a few - Check their personality, are they likable? That might not be all that you need. Yes they can get along with people, fine. But can they be tough, ask the hard questions and dive into an intense negotiation on your behalf? I'm not talking about a sharky Gecko type either. The agent you choose should have a delicate but firm presence, being a REALTOR can be like an artform, a few sketch moving illustrations and others can only just draw stick figures.
