Local Real Estate Agent Sentenced To 3 Years For Fraud

A 39 year old Bowie real estate agent was sentenced last Tuesday to 3 years in jail and almost $6 million in restitution for fraud charges.  Ofei ,a licensed Realtor conspired with a few others to use straw buyers to obtain fraudulent mortgages using false financial and employment information to purchase homes in Maryland.  Another reason to know who your working with when dealing in real estate transactions.
